The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. Each days length, thereafter, will gradually get longer until Spring arrives.<\/li>\n<li>In cold temperature the bees cluster tightly. The bees on the outside insulate the cluster while the bees on the inside of the cluster fan their wings to generate heat.
